Year End Review Linkup, part 2

Today I am linking up with Confessions from an Impulsive Addict for the second part of a year end review of life in the D'souza house. If you missed part 1 you can read it here.

A review of 2011

April

April saw us sweating it out as summer moved into full swing. Scarlett turned 5 months old and Lila turned two. Some of my posts were random combinations of stuff we were doing and some were just a collection of photos from last month. At least now that Scarlett was older I was able to get more posts done.

Attempting a group shot. These never come out as desired.

May

My favorite month - probably because it is my birthday month. Heehee. Happy birthday to me!
This month was probably the hottest summer-heat wise so I set up the kids wading pool on the balcony. Lila became more of a rascal and started getting into more trouble, with at least one big antic per day. I celebrated my 4th mother's day, and started my Mommy to Mommy blog. I took the children to the park several times and got some great photos. I'm only putting two here since the posts I linked to have lots of pics.

This is how I kept the pool clean.

And yes, sometimes all 5 of us got in. (The empty space there was for me, see?)
June
The most notable thing about June was that Logan started preschool. His first day was a success and it has just gotten better since then. He loves school so much. This month I also faced my scariest parenting moment yet. And it was just the beginning, for it seemed the terrible twos had really taken off with Lila. Just keeping up with her was wearing me out. Scarlett learned to crawl this month, meaning she also started getting into trouble.

Outdoor play is something we did lots of this month.

See you for part 3 next week.

Your babies make my uterus hurt...especially Scarlett. I want to hold her! I'm not a freak. I promise.

I think we're entering the terrible two's with little Emma right now. Feel free to share your advice. You already shared the potty training with me! =)

Thanks for linking up with us again!!!

Oh that last picture, those roles! How cute!

My son is just starting to hit some terrible two behaviors and I am already worried about how I am going to handle it. I will be back to read some of your links.

Thanks for linking up- I have your point recorded.

I love that last picture too! Oh, the terrible twos--I am almost there again. Though my one-year-old is giving me great practice now!

That baby pool shot was the best. Also, I loved the one where your little guy is climbing up the ladder into it looks like nowhere! (Doubtless really up a slide)

That last picture is so adorable!!! She's such a cute little chunk! :o)

The wasing pool is a GREAT idea! I'm definitely getting one of those for next summer. Before this, all of the apartments we lived at had pools. Now that we have a house, there's no pool! :o/
