Year End Review Linkup, part 3

Today I am linking up with Confessions from an Impulsive Addict for the third part of a year end review of life in the D'souza house. You can find parts 1 and 2 here.
A review of 2011

July

In July we had the summer monsoon, I joined my very first blog linkup, rambled about my kids, wrote about how I do my grocery shopping here in India, and posted my first recepie. And that is only some of the July posts. I did well with my blog in July.
Sadly, I have no photos from July, as my camera died, and to date it is still not fixed. Any photos taken after this point are with Glad's phone, and it only takes good outdoor photos, so the indoor ones, while I have tried to fix them up with my photo editor, still aren't that great.

August

No photos taken this month either. I hate not gettting pics of the kids. It makes me feel like I am missing records of their life. So sad.
In August I wrote more about life in India and my thoughts and views on things here, Glad turned 31, and I struggled to get my kids sleeping in their own beds. Scarlett (9 months old) got her ears pierced this month, and began showing signs of the rascal she is to become. She wore me out with her antics and being sick. I thought she was teething but she wasn't. I also posted some recepies.

September

In September my mom was visiting my grandparents, thus enabling them to see pics and stuff about the kids, so I wrote a series of special posts just for them. They are old enough to not be into computers or have internet at home, except for when mom was there.
I also wrote about the crazyness of life, stressfulness of toys, and more childhood memories. The children swam a lot, played a lot, and generally kept me busy. Oh, and I got my blog buttons up, wearing myself out trying to figure out how to work with coding. Let's just say I won't be trying it again any time soon.
Somewhere around the beginning of this month I had a "duh" moment when I realised I could use Glad's phone to take pics, at least when he is home, so I began taking lots. My phone has a camera but for some weird reason, no way to take them off, so it is rather useless. Here are some from this month.

We got lots of use out of the pool.

Messing around with the webcam.

A rare moment.

Building a Lego ship with daddy.

Love this smile.

Next week will be the final post of the review. See you there.

I'm not sure I could live without my camera. I take way too many {and delete the ones I don't wanna keep}. I went a few days without a camera once when mine was messing up but I got a new one for Christmas!

I love the pics that you were able to post. That Lego ship looks fun!

I want to go stare down your recipes. i have a thing for trying new things...which is why I'm addicted to pinterest now.

Thanks for linking up! Have a great weekend!

I can't imagine having to boil my milk. My life is so easy. And really boiling milk isn't such a big deal. But I would burn it. I would. Guaranteed. Your kids are absolutely beautiful.

I just came from you coding post. I'm going to attempt to make a button this next week, but I'm fairly certain that's much too complicated for me!

I love the picture of your hugging kids. Very sweet!
